SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service click here the area every day. The services stage created for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
